Dermal Filler Dissolving
Dermal fillers like Juvederm, Restylane, contain hyaluronic acid, can be effectively dissolved using an enzyme known as Hyaluronidase. While naturally occurring in our skin, this enzyme can be injected at higher concentrations to rapidly eliminate unwanted filler. To achieve this, the enzyme is mixed with saline and then introduced into the area where the filler is located. This process breaks down the filler, causing it to vanish within minutes. However, the full results of the treatment typically become noticeable after 24 hours once any initial swelling has subsided.
